Stella Kenyi

Stella Kenyi is Independent Diplomat’s Juba Officer.  Before joining Independent Diplomat, Stella focused on the implementation of relief and development projects in Kenya, Uganda, Chad, and South Sudan. Most recently, she was a Regional Program Manager for USAID’s South Sudan Conflict Mitigation and Transition Program covering flashpoints in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Warrap, and Unity states. She brings not only project management and analysis expertise to the  Juba Officer position, but also field experience having worked with private sector and non-profit development organizations, including AECOM, Louis Berger, Agricultural Cooperative Development International/Volunteers in Overseas Cooperative Assistance, and National Rural Electric Cooperative Association International. A native of Sudan, Stella holds a MA in International Development from Cornell University and a BA in Political Science from Davidson College.
