Susanna Emmet
Susanna Emmet is ID's Managing Director, responsible for ID's general management, global administration, and organisational strategy. Susanna helped to establish ID in the US, and has been involved in many aspects of its growth. Before joining Independent Diplomat, she worked at Human Rights First as assistant to the President; Chechnya Advocacy Network where she worked with Chechens on study and fellowship opportunities; and the International Service for Human Rights where she monitored and reported on human rights at the UN. She has an LLM in international law from the University of Kent, and a BA from the New School in social and historical inquiry.
