Speaking today at a special meeting of the UN Security Council to consider the growing threats posed by climate change to international peace and security, the Marshall Islands' (one of ID's clients) Minister-in-Assistance to the President, Tony de Brum, issued a forceful call to the international community to take urgent measures to save his small atoll island nation from virtual extinction.
